Uptime Certification

Uptime Institute's globally recognized certification is the mark of excellence for data center availability and overall performance. It plays a substantial role in the data center selection process.

LEED Certification

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), developed and managed by the

U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), is the world's most widely recognized green building rating system.

Why Banyano?

In 2013, Banyano became one of Uptime Institute's first partners in China. In 2014, we helped Baidu's M1 data center achieve Uptime M&O Stamp of Approval. It's the first data center in China, and the second in North Asia, to earn this recognition.

 

In 2026, our partnership with Uptime expanded further: Banyano is now officially Uptime's partner for China and South Asia-Pacific, extending our services to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, and beyond.

 

Our team includes multiple Uptime ATD (Accredited Tier Designers) and ATS (Accredited Tier Specialists). We are also among the few service providers in China with successful project experience across TCDD, TCCF, and M&O.

 

In 2024, Banyano received Uptime's highest tier of recognition, the Tier Certification Project Contribution Award. In 2025, we earned the M&O Certification Project Contribution Award as well.

Why Banyano?

Banyano is a strategic partner of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) for LEED data center certification, with deep expertise in the LEED certification system. In 2018, the LEED Data Center Advisory Committee (China) was established, with Banyano's CEO, Danny Cheng, elected as its Secretary-General.
