Responsibilities

• Carry out daily on-site data center operations and maintenance, including equipment inspections, routine monitoring, and handling operational events per established procedures.
• Support server hardware activities such as installation, racking, cabling, component replacement, and consumables management.
• Perform Linux-based hardware operations, including basic system checks, troubleshooting, and log reviews; assist senior engineers with deeper system-level interventions.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external vendors to ensure smooth execution of on-site activities, maintenance, and emergency response.
• Respond promptly to emergencies—perform initial troubleshooting, stabilize issues, and escalate appropriately to maintain continuous operations.
• Prepare operational records, shift handover notes, and task completion logs for accuracy and traceability.
• Participate in a 24/7 rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in data center operations and maintenance, with familiarity with server rooms, IT equipment, and facility environments.
• Familiar with data center IT operations and maintenance standards and processes, including equipment inspection, incident handling, and operational documentation.
• Familiar with Linux system operations, especially hardware-related command-line tasks and basic system checks; able to support troubleshooting of hardware behavior and system-level issues.
• Familiar with server hardware and common consumables (cables, disks, memory modules, and other replaceable components).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with clear, structured thinking during both routine operations and emergencies.
• Able to respond quickly to incidents, perform first-level troubleshooting independently, and escalate when necessary.
