Data Center Commissioning Engineer
Responsibilities

Minimum 3 years of experience in data center operations, facilities management, commissioning projects, or related critical infrastructure.

Able to work in a project-based environment and willing to relocate, travel, or stay on-site as required by project assignments.

Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facility systems to ensure operations remain within design parameters and comply with safety and regulatory standards.

Respond promptly to alarms and incidents by performing troubleshooting, coordinating corrective actions, and escalating issues to relevant teams when necessary.

Execute commissioning plans and schedules in accordance with project requirements and data center standards.

Perform validation of 2N / N+1 redundancy systems and ensure reliability of critical infrastructure.

Support BMS integration for HVAC monitoring and system optimization.

Participate in the design review and performance validation of Chilled Water (CHW) systems.

Experience with Liquid Cooling systems (Direct-to-Chip / Rear Door Heat Exchanger) is preferred.

Monitor commissioning quality, coordinate with internal teams and vendors, and ensure all testing activities are completed within schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements.

Handle emergencies during both operational and commissioning phases, summarize testing issues, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, incident reports, commissioning results, and equipment inventories.

Collaborate closely with engineering, network operations, project teams, and customer support teams to optimize overall data center performance.

Communicate with clients and provide on-site technical support during operational and commissioning activities.

Support customers utilizing data center services and ensure service continuity at all times.

Able to support 24/7 rotation shift
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a related field.
(Fresh graduates are welcome for junior-level positions.) -
Experience in data center operations, facilities management, or commissioning projects is preferred.

Knowledge of data center systems, including Electrical (HV/LV), HVAC, Fire Protection and Environmental Monitoring Systems.

Understanding of commissioning processes, data center delivery standards and testing procedures.

Proficient in using monitoring systems and tools to analyze operational data.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; able to perform effectively under pressure.

Good communication skills; responsible, self-motivated and a strong team player.

Ability to review commissioning plans, schedules and technical reports.

Project management experience is an advantage; PMP certification is a plus.

Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
-
Able to travel or stay on-site for extended periods when required.

Language skills: Thai/Malay–English or Thai/Malay–Mandarin communication.
