Operations Manager
Responsibilities
1. Own overall data center operations management for the site: process standardization, resource allocation, staff training, and organizational structure.
2. Build and continuously refine the operations management system to meet client requirements, including SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs.
3. Manage daily team operations, including work allocation, scheduling, and performance appraisal.
4. Develop infrastructure maintenance plans, track execution, and drive continuous improvement.
5. Review change requests and incident reports; lead emergency response and coordinate major fault resolution and complex troubleshooting.
6. Assist in negotiating vendor contracts, monitoring service quality, and leading vendor performance reviews.
7. Organize operations training, drills, and assessments to keep the team's competency aligned with client requirements.
8. Support presales activities, including technical consultation and input on bid proposals for operations projects.
9. Prepare service reports and client assessment materials.
10. Other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
1. Bachelor's degree or above in HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
2. 5+ years managing large-scale data center infrastructure operations, including 3+ years in a management role.
3. Hands-on knowledge of high-voltage, low-voltage, UPS, diesel generator, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, security, access control, and CCTV systems.
4. Familiarity with data center standards (TIA-942, GB/T 50174) and ITSM frameworks (ITIL/ISO 20000), including incident, change, and problem management.
5. Track record across the full operations lifecycle: daily maintenance, emergency response, and continuous improvement etc.
6. PMP, ATD, ATS, AOS, or similar international certification a plus.
7. Effective communicator and coordinator, comfortable working across internal teams, municipal authorities, vendors, and clients.
8. Strong sense of responsibility, able to balance the interests of the company, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure stable operations.
